The Art of Earth Offering Retreat
With Robin Flynn and Darcy Kopas
July 2 - 5, 2026
The Art of Earth Offering – Entering into Sacred Partnership with Pachamama and the Seen & Unseen Guardians of Ayni
Star River Sanctuary – in collaboration with The Heart of the Healer
This in‑depth apprenticeship expresses Love as action, responsibility, and service. Rooted in the teachings of don Oscar Miro‑Quesada and the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition, this training develops skill, discernment, and intelligence in the ceremonial application of ayni through the sacred art of despacho making.
Ayni is the living principle of sacred reciprocity — the balanced flow of giving and receiving that restores harmony within ourselves, our communities, and our relationship with Pachamama, and is essential for healing lives and regenerating the world.
Building on your foundational relationship with the five directions of the PMT lineage, this apprenticeship is an opportunity to mature as a ceremonialist — expanding your capacity to serve Self, Community, and Earth through conscious, heart‑centered ritual practice. Here, spiritual power is refined not through will or force, but through humility, devotion, and right relationship with Pachamama and her seen and unseen guardians.
Commitment — showing up with discipline and reverence to learn the ritual arts of offering and care.
Connection — cultivating living relationship with Pachamama, lineage, and the Guardians of Ayni.
Communion — practicing Love as sacred reciprocity, where ceremony becomes a shared field of belonging and healing.
During this apprenticeship you will:
- Develop a deep personal relationship with the five unseen Guardians of Ayni: Tirakuna, Awkikuna, Malkikuna, Machula Awlanchis, and Apukuna
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of despacho ingredients, their symbolism, and their specific ceremonial uses
- Learn to create despachos for personal, communal, and planetary healing
- Experience and practice the three primary ways of offering despachos: burying, burning, and offering to water
- Receive a minimum of 36 hours of in‑person training in ceremonial ritual arts
- Create and maintain your own despacho kit for ongoing practice
Participants will receive a never‑before‑offered Despacho Handbook, including ceremonial components, intention‑specific healing ceremonies, and an extensive guide to ingredients and symbolism, alongside the Course Essentials text.
This apprenticeship is for those who feel called to serve as empowered ceremonialists — honoring tradition while bringing these sacred arts into contemporary contexts with integrity, humility, and love.
No prerequisites are required for this apprenticeship. You are welcome whether this is your first formal ceremonial training or a deepening of work you are already living.
The first four days of this apprenticeship will be held in deep communion with the spiritual forces and guardians of the land, allowing relationships with Pachamama and the Guardians of Ayni to be formed through direct experience, prayer, and practice.
If you feel called but are unsure whether this apprenticeship is the right fit, our team would be happy to have a conversation with you to explore readiness, intentions, and alignment with care and discernment.
